Description:
On the night of October 26 in the Clocktower Brewpub basement, poet Stephen Brockwell sternly inquired of his rapt audience, “Why am I propped up against a stranger?”
A captivating featured reader book-ended by two diverse open mic sets. This week’s broadcast did its best to mimic that structure in 30 minutes. The podcast, with the music shortened and swears beeped, is 21 minutes of shameless, loose-girdled poetry.
Plus: while we couldn’t fit it into the broadcast, we didn’t want listeners to miss out on Mr. Brockwell’s take on Peter Van Toorn, available as a bonus 3-minute download.
